He first started skating for Escapist which was a local skate shop and to this day they continue to support him.   Hey everyone, so last time you heard me talk about Nyjah Houston and why he was liked/disliked with the skateboarding community. Well now I bring to you another skater who is also liked/disliked by the skateboarding community . The name Chris Cole ring a bell? Hey skaters and people reading this because they saw the title of Nyjah Huston. Today I wanted to talk about the world's ranking number one skater, Nyjah Huston. Nyjah has made a huge impact on the skateboarding community in good and bad ways. I would for starters say that a good way he has impacted the skateboarding community is that he brought a lot of attention to the community and brought some more people in with his insane tricks and stunts going viral on social media platforms. There have also been bad things he had or not necessarily bad things he did but things that were bad in the eyes of the community. The thing about Nyjah is that he is known as a sell out. He has this reputation because he has big brand sponsors and does some crazy things for them that some people consider bad or “selling out” as another would say.
